Melksham Marketplace
An opportunity to improve the area was identified during planning for the Melksham campus scheme. Access to Melksham campus will be provided through the centre of the market place with a new link onto Spa Road roundabout.
Scheme Objectives
- Provide through movements for traffic to Melksham campus.
- Create a high quality public space in the centre of the town where people can congregate for social, leisure and community activities.
- Improve the pedestrian environment.
- Enhance and preserve the historic character and appearance of the town.
