- Salisbury – Be inspired by the peace and beauty of Salisbury Cathedral. Discover the world’s finest original Magna Carta, the world’s oldest working clock and over 750 years of history. There are a fantastic variety of walking routes around the city. Cycle or take the bus north up to Old Sarum and explore 5000 years of history at the mighty Iron Age hill fort. Cycle west and stroll around Wilton House with its 17th century interiors, world famous art collection and 22 acres of parkland and gardens.

- Why not plan your own cycle tour following one of the National Cycle Network routes or the Wiltshire Cycleway. Popular destinations include Avebury, the historic town of Marlborough or travel around Wiltshire’s white horses.
- The Kennet and Avon Canal path is accessible from Bradford-on-Avon, Trowbridge, Melksham, Devizes and Great Bedwyn (near Marlborough). This path is said to be one of England’s best cycle routes, and is also fantastic for walking.
- Mountain bike routes such as Cranbourne Chase, the Ridgeway Trail and the Coate to Marlborough railway path.
