New Transport Video Guides to Stonehenge and Avebury

Wiltshire Council and the sustainable transport and tourism media group Greentraveller have produced two videos on how to travel car-free to Stonehenge and Avebury.

Richard Hammond, Chief Executive of Greentraveller Media Group, said:

“Video is an excellent medium to promote sustainable transport to the Stonehenge and Avebury World Heritage Site as it can visually convey not only the appeal of the journey but also the connection between that low carbon journey and the world class visitor experience at the end of it.

“The recent technological innovations in video production mean it is much easier to produce and promote high quality video footage to a huge online audience, so we hope that these videos will encourage many visitors to travel more sustainably to the Stonehenge and Avebury World Heritage Site and help keep it such a special, magical experience.”

The video was funded through the government’s Local Sustainable Transport Fund.
