Train disruption over the bank holiday weekend

No trains between Swindon and Bath Spa / Bristol Parkway on Sunday 1 and Monday 2 May

Engineering work is taking place between Swindon and Bath Spa / Bristol Parkway, closing some lines.

Buses replace trains between Chippenham and Westbury.

Buses will call at Melksham, Trowbridge and Westbury, with some buses starting from Swindon.

Trains between Swansea / Cardiff Central and London Paddington will depart up to 40 minutes earlier than usual. Trains will be diverted between Newport and Swindon, extending journey times by up to 50 minutes.

Trains between Cheltenham Spa and London Paddington will depart up to 10 minutes earlier than usual.

Trains between Bristol Temple Meads and London Paddington will be diverted between Bath Spa and Swindon, extending journey times by up to 25 minutes.

Replacement road transport will operate between Bath Spa and Swindon, taking 60 minutes.

Replacement road transport will operate between Bristol Parkway and Swindon, taking 55 minutes.

Passengers travelling from Bristol Parkway to Cardiff Central should travel via Bristol Parkway.
