Electric car display in Salisbury

30 May 2018

Salisbury Co-cars will be displaying an electric car on Saturday 30th June in the Guildhall Square Salisbury.

The display will be part of Sustainable Salisbury 2018, which includes local musicians, an open-mic session, face-painting, interactive art activities and information about living sustainably.

Electric vehicles help reduce air pollution, noise pollution and tackle climate change. They’re also cheap and easy to run.  The new Renault Zoe, 40kwh electric vehicle, has real life charge estimates of up to 190 miles in summer and 140 miles in winter. Supermini style, with 5 seats and 338 litres of boot space. For more details see Co Cars’ car details page. The car will be in the Guildhall Square from 9am to 5pm on Saturday 30th June.

Whether you’re thinking about joining the car club, or purchasing an electric vehicle yourself, come along to  the Guildhall and have a chat with Co Cars.

If you are thinking about joining the car club, you may be able to arrange a free test drive (identity verification and license would be required). Please contact benji@co-cars.co.uk for more details about test drives.

There are a growing number of electric car charging points in public car parks and at rail stations in Wiltshire. There are additional charge points installed at private locations throughout Wiltshire and the rest of the UK and you can find more information about them on the OpenChargeMap or National Charge Point Registery.
